| ABSTRACT: | This study consists of four volumes: * Volume 1 : Pre-feasibility study * Volume 2 : Main report * Volume 3 : Appendices to main report * Volume 4 : Draft report on technical, economic and financial feasibility and preliminary design. Preliminary design studies have been performed to raise Kafrein Dam and for the regulating structure. The design have been based on the surveys and site investigations performed for these studies and the information available from previous studies. The preliminary design have been performed in sufficient detail to define the type, size, capacities, layouts and dimensions of the various components. The additional studies, site investigations, and surveys required for final design were discussed. |
