Directory of Selected Water-related Publications
Many publications about the water resources in the region have been prepared in the past 20 to 30 years. With no formal system of library exchanges among the Parties, however, it has been difficult for scientists within the region to know the publications exist and to acquire copies. The only articles readily available to scientists in the region are those published in foreign scientific journals. This directory of selected Israeli, Jordanian, and Palestinian water-related publications is an attempt by EXACT to improve communications among the region’s scientists. It includes a wide variety of publications and, for each of them, lists the title, author, publisher, length, publication date, language of publication, an abstract, and an address from which the publication can be obtained. The directory was prepared and publicized on the Internet as a public service by the representatives to EXACT. The directory was also printed and published.
